While listening to some albums recently that have good transitions between the tracks, it would be nice to have gapless playback (without crossfading).
Would be really cool to see this in Tuniac, if it's not too much work.

The audio engine cant support perfect gapless playback. It starts a new stream for each media file, it would be nothing more than guessing and luck to be able to line up the streams.
The engine would need to be rewritten so it wrote to just one stream.
The audio engine is a Tony Million creation, you need to nag him, but the answer above is what I got when I asked him for it a while ago :p
Note if you turn down the audio buffer size in Tuniac to 250ms, Tuniac might be better at nearly gapless playback
